Molly McDowell-Burns PhD, IMFT-S, LPCC-S, RPT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor specializes in marriage/couple and family therapy. Molly is the owner of Family Connection 9, LLC. She is an independently licensed marriage and family therapist, professional clinical counselor, and registered play therapist. She has worked extensively with families, couples, children, and individuals dealing with diverse clinical issues. Molly specializes in treating Borderline Personality Disorder from a systemic lens to address the complex needs and issues this population possesses. She emphasizes a relational component when treating BPD as she feels it is an essential part of the healing process. Her particular interests include working with couples to create stronger and healthier relationships with a strong emphasis on communication, conflict resolution and appropriate relational boundaries. She also enjoys working with children/adolescents/teenagers to help them have more effective coping skills, stronger self-esteem, and better relationships with parents/guardians. Molly also enjoys working with individuals, particularity emerging adults (18-24) and women, to empower them and help them find their “voice” in the world. Molly received her doctoral degree at The University of Akron in Counselor Education and Supervision with a focus in marriage and family therapy and currently teaches Masters and Doctoral classes at North Central University. In addition to her clinical and academic aspirations, Molly supervises clinical trainees working towards licensure as part of her mission to help train and advance the profession of couple/marriage and family therapy. Because of this, you may begin your therapeutic relationship with one of her highly trained supervisees working towards their independent licensure. This means that your case will be discussed in supervision to ensure you are receiving the best possible care.

With over 26 years of experience in school counseling, education, and private practice; I, Sherrie Schneider bring a unique blend of compassion, insight, and practical expertise to my work as a licensed therapist. Beginning my career as a classroom intervention teacher, I have spent more than two decades supporting students, families, parents and educators in navigating both academic and emotional challenges. .
I am passionate about helping individuals and families work through life's ever changing journey with compassion, understanding, and practical support. My approach centers on creating a safe, welcoming space where building a trusting open relationship is key; and clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and goals at their own pace.
Some of my specializations are supporting adolescents as they navigate transitions, identity development, and the pressures of school and social life. I also work extensively with adults and families to facilitate personal goals, strengthen communications, foster connections, and build healthier relationships.
My areas of focus include social and academic adjustment, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, OCD, and women’s health. I am particularly drawn to helping clients through periods of change—whether it’s a new school, a family transition, or a personal life shift—by offering both empathy and evidence-based strategies for growth and healing.

FEES
The initial session is $185 and subsequent treatment sessions for individuals are $150. All sessions are 50 minutes long. Sliding scale fees can be arranged on an as need basis. Fees are expected at the beginning of each session.
