 Janis is a licensed marriage and family therapist. Janis holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family therapy from Capella University. Her approach revolves around a systemic view of family and relational patterns. She believes that humans have a desire for both belonging and individuality. She is passionate about the process of navigating through belief systems in order to shift patterns of interactions Janis leans towards identifying core wounding and how it drives our thoughts, behaviors, and often subconscious strategies for love and connection. She is committed to creating a safe environment that is conducive for the needs of the client. She is passionate about tuning into unmet needs, attachment styles, and the restoration of relationships. Her focus is to assist in the creation of positive bonding that allows all individuals to be seen and heard. Janis enjoys especially working with couples and individuals of all ages.

FEES

The initial session is $185 and subsequent treatment sessions for individuals are $150. All sessions are 50 minutes long. Sliding scale fees can be arranged on an as need basis. Fees are expected at the beginning of each session. 

Please always call your insurance to make sure you have Mental Health coverage and to check on your deductible.

Currently the following insurances are accepted, and more are in the process of application. Clients are responsible for contacting their insurance company to verify that the provider's services are covered.
